Love Filled Eyes is an emotionally-driven piece and an excerpt from Sisu founder Malissa's debut EP on Ukrainian label, система.
"Moments where somehow without you knowing, you stop your past blockading the present and you are able to open up again like petals on a closed flower from the storm. The realisation of pushing away something so great eventually breaks through to you and unknowingly you allow yourself to release your guard and open up a new lease of life. A re-imagination of love." (Malissa)
The quote above, from Malissa herself, epitomises the heart-felt production and intention that we hear on this 5 minute journey. The hypnotic piano, swirling introductory ambience and patient drums all have a part to play in telling this story of re-connecting with one's emotions.
As well as connecting with her conception of love, this track also showcases an incredibly special connection developing between the creator and her creative practice - as a first release, it already feels charming, idiosyncratic and unique - quite the complement for such a minimalistic audio experiment. We are incredibly excited to see where this release takes her, the future is bright and abstract!
