The Rolling Stones released Wild Horses in 1971 on their album Sticky Fingers, and it was named as track number 334 in Rolling Stone Magazine's 500 greatest tracks of all time. The riff & the chorus were written by Keith & the Lyrics by Mick. Like Satisfaction, Wild Horses "was about the usual thing of not wanting to be on the road, being a million miles from where you want to be". The track has been covered many times by the likes of Alicia Keys, Otis Clay, Garbage & even Susan Boyle. Another beautiful track for a Sunday and a firm favourite in my collection.
